Terms of use
Last updated: 20 October 2026
These terms are available in English, Spanish and French.
If you live in Belgium: automatic renewal. Your monthly subscription renews automatically each month at the price shown. To stop it, cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date in your iPhone's Settings › your name › Subscriptions. After a renewal, you can end it at any time, without charge: it ends at the end of the current month.
The key points in one minute
This is a summary. The full terms below are what apply.
- Drimmlies is for adults. It is an app by Drimmly AI Ltd for parents and legal guardians aged 18 or over. Your children do not use it. Drimmlies requires a subscription. It is sold in the US, the UK, Spain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.
- One account for Drimmlies and drimmly.com. Drimmlies is an app of Drimmly AI Ltd, the company behind drimmly.com, and your account is the same on both.
- Your Drimmly is an AI. Nimbo, Brisa, Cielo and Lumi are artificial intelligence, not people, and they can make mistakes. They are not doctors, psychologists, lawyers or teachers, and they are not an emergency service. If anyone is in danger, call 112 (EU), 999 (UK) or 911 (US); in the US, for a crisis, you can also call or text 988.
- About your children, we keep the minimum: first name, age, school system, school year and exams. If they turn on your reminders, also their email address (or, for 7 days at most, the one you give us so we can send them your invitation).
- Drimmlies only writes to your children aged 14 or over: at most one invitation email on your behalf, if you ask us to and confirm it (otherwise you send them the link from your phone); then, only if they say yes, the reminders. We never message them by WhatsApp or SMS. Never ads. They can unsubscribe with one click (section 9.4).
- Family (in the countries listed in section 10.4; not in the US): Parent Plus for you and Drimmly Pro on drimmly.com for a child aged 14 or over who has already accepted your invitation (section 15.3).
- Subscriptions are billed by Apple (or by Google Play, once available) and renew automatically. You can cancel at any time in your store settings or from the app. We remind you before your trial ends and before your annual plan renews. In Spain there is no store trial: you get a free welcome week, with no automatic charge (section 17.1).
- Right to cancel. If you live in the EU or the UK, you have 14 days to withdraw, also from inside the app (section 22). Refunds are made by Apple (or Google Play); we help you ask for them (section 21).
- Credits: each plan includes credits every month. You can earn more or buy top-ups, which do not expire and can be used even without a plan. Credits have no cash value outside Drimmlies (section 24).
- Your consumer rights. If you live in the UK or the EU, you always keep the protection of your local consumer laws and can bring claims in your local courts. If you live in the US, disputes go to individual arbitration and you have 30 days to opt out (US annex).
- We reply as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours: [email protected].

The prices we show include applicable taxes, such as VAT (in the US, see section 15.1).
2. What Drimmlies is and which documents make up the contract
2.1 Drimmlies is an app that helps parents and guardians organise school and family life. It includes:
- an artificial intelligence companion ("your Drimmly");
- tasks and reminders;
- the class circle;
- Reads (articles and news);
- email reminders to your child aged 14 or over, if they accept them (section 9.4);
- where available, a link to your child's own drimmly.com account (section 10).
2.2 These terms are a contract between you and Drimmly AI Ltd, and they are also the end user licence agreement (EULA) for the app. They apply when you download the app, create an account or use it. The following also form part of the contract:
- the rules of the invitation programme in section 12;
- the information we show you before you buy: plan, price, trial, first charge date and renewal.
If any of that information is more favourable to you than these terms, the more favourable version applies.
The Privacy Policy (drimmlies.com/privacy) is not part of the contract: it explains how we use your data.
2.3 One account for Drimmlies and drimmly.com. Your Drimmlies account is your Drimmly account, so the same login works in the app and on drimmly.com. When you use drimmly.com, its own terms apply (drimmly.com/terms). For anything you buy in Drimmlies, these terms apply (section 15.7). If you delete your account, it is deleted on both, unless you choose to delete only your Drimmlies data (section 26).
2.4 You can read, save or print these terms at any time at drimmlies.com/terms and in the app. When you subscribe, we email you a confirmation with the version you accepted.
3. Who can use Drimmlies
3.1 Drimmlies is only for people aged 18 or over who are the parent or legal guardian of the children they add. Other adult carers cannot use it, even with the parents' permission.
3.2 By creating an account, and by signing in to the app with an existing account, you confirm that you meet these requirements. drimmly.com student accounts cannot be used in Drimmlies. Do not let a child use your account, talk to your Drimmly or use the in-app camera on your behalf.
If we have reasonable grounds to believe that a child is using your account, we may end the conversation, let you know and restrict the account (section 26.2). We only look at what is said in the conversation, never at your voice or your face. If we learn that we hold information from a child under 13, we delete it.
3.3 Drimmlies is for personal and family use. If you want to use it in a school, tutoring centre or other organisation, contact us first.
3.4 Where your app store gives us a signal of your age range (for example, in the United States), we use it only to check that you are an adult. We do not keep the signal itself: we keep only the result ("adult: yes or no") and the date. If it shows that you are under 18, we do not create the account, or we close your access to Drimmlies.
3.5 You may not use Drimmlies where the law prohibits it (see also section 28(g)).
4. Your account
4.1 You can sign up with your email, with Sign in with Apple or with Google. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
4.2 Accounts are personal: one per person. Each parent has their own account (section 9).
4.3 Keep your device and your login secure. If you think someone has accessed your account, tell us straight away at [email protected].
4.4 You can delete your account at any time (section 26).
5. Your Drimmly: what it is and what it is not
5.1 It is an artificial intelligence. Nimbo, Brisa, Cielo and Lumi are characters of an AI system, not people.
- In the chat, they always carry an "AI" label. In voice mode, they say so at the start of each session ("I'm Nimbo, an AI, not a person"), and in long conversations we remind you at least every 3 hours that you are talking to an AI.
- Their voice is synthetic, AI-generated speech and does not imitate any real person.
- If you ask whether they are a person, they are designed to always tell you they are an AI.
5.2 How it works. To answer you, we use AI models from other companies:
- Google (Gemini, through Google Cloud) understands what you write, say or show it and drafts the replies;
- ElevenLabs turns the replies into speech: it only receives the text of the reply, which may include a child's first name.
Before you first use your Drimmly, and before you pay, we ask for your explicit permission to send your data to these providers and explain what each one receives. If we add a new AI provider, we will name it first and ask for your permission again. Drimmlies requires a subscription. Without the AI permission, or if you withdraw it in the app's privacy settings, you can use Tasks, the Family tab and the class circle, but not your Drimmly.
The Privacy Policy explains which data is sent, where it goes and how long it is kept.
5.3 What your Drimmly is not. Your Drimmly:
- is not a doctor, psychologist, therapist, lawyer, financial adviser or teacher;
- does not provide healthcare, therapy or professional advice;
- does not diagnose or treat any illness or condition, whether yours or your children's;
- is not an emergency service and does not monitor your family;
- does not replace your child's school, your own decisions as a parent or guardian, or a professional's opinion.
5.4 It can be wrong. Replies are generated automatically. They can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, and they can make things up even when they sound confident. Before you act, check important information against official sources or with a professional. This includes exam dates, school rules, health, money and legal matters. The decisions are yours.
5.5 What you see while it thinks. The "traces" shown in the app summarise the real steps your Drimmly is taking. They are a summary to help you understand what it is doing, not a complete technical log.
5.6 Memory and history. Your Drimmly remembers your family's context and your conversations so it can help you better. You can see and delete what it remembers, and your history, in the app's privacy settings. By default we keep conversations for 12 months; you can choose 3 or 6 months, or no history. Retention periods are set out in the Privacy Policy.
5.7 Your Drimmly does not sell to you. It will not pressure you to pay, upgrade or stay subscribed. Information about plans is in the subscription settings.
5.8 If someone is in danger. If you, your child or anyone else is in danger, call emergency services: 112 in the EU, 999 in the UK or 911 in the US (in the US, for a crisis, you can also call or text 988).
If suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, abuse or violence towards others comes up, your Drimmly is designed to step out of the normal conversation and show you helplines for your region (Annex B). It is an automated system and may not detect every situation: if someone is in danger, don't wait, call emergency services. Those help resources never use credits.
5.9 Companion chatbots may not be suitable for some minors. That is why Drimmlies is for adults only. We also show this notice in the app, in every country.
5.10 Usage limits. Your use of your Drimmly is measured in credits (section 24). We may temporarily limit usage to protect the service against abuse or technical failures.
6. Camera, photos and voice
6.1 You can show your Drimmly a photo of homework, a question or whatever is in front of you. You can also talk to it with your voice.
6.2 Only photograph or record what you have the right to share:
- avoid capturing faces or other people;
- avoid identity documents, health information and other people's personal data;
- if children appear, they should be your own, and only when necessary;
- don't send photos or audio in which other people can be identified without their permission.
6.3 We do not store your photos or audio. We process them in memory to answer you. We keep only two things:
- what can be inferred from them, for example the subject, level or school system;
- the transcript of what you say.
If the automated filters of our AI provider (Google) flag possible misuse, Google may keep that content for up to 90 days and have authorised staff review it.
6.4 We do not use your voice or image to identify you. We do not create voiceprints, recognise faces or clone voices.
6.5 Only record when you are the one speaking. Don't record other people, or send audio in which they can be identified, without their permission.
7. Acceptable use
When using Drimmlies, you must not:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
- send, request or generate sexual content involving children, or any content that exploits, sexualises or endangers a child (we will report it to the authorities);
- harass, threaten, insult, discriminate against or deceive anyone, including your children and other families;
- add data about children for whom you are not a parent or legal guardian;
- use Drimmlies to monitor or control anyone without the legal right to do so;
- impersonate anyone, for example another parent;
- share other children's grades, health information, photos or personal data in the class circle;
- use your Drimmly to obtain medical or psychological diagnoses or treatment;
- use your Drimmly to make decisions with legal effects on other people;
- try to get around safety filters or usage limits, for example with "jailbreak" prompts;
- generate or share violent, hateful, sexually explicit or illegal content, or content that encourages suicide, self-harm or eating disorders;
- remove the marks or metadata showing that text or audio was generated by AI;
- clone or imitate a real person's voice;
- use Drimmlies or its outputs to build or train other AI models or competing services;
- copy, modify, decompile or disassemble the app, except where the law expressly allows it;
- access the service with bots or other automated means, overload it or introduce malicious code;
- use Drimmlies for commercial purposes, resell access or share your account.
You must also follow our AI providers' usage policies:
- Google's Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy: https://policies.google.com/terms/generative-ai/use-policy
- ElevenLabs' Prohibited Use Policy: https://elevenlabs.io/use-policy
If you break these rules, we may remove content, restrict features or suspend your account (sections 13 and 26).
8. Your children in Drimmlies
8.1 Your children do not use Drimmlies. If you are their parent or legal guardian, you can create a profile for each child so your Drimmly can help you better.
8.2 A child profile only asks for:
- first name (or a nickname);
- age;
- school system;
- school year;
- exams.
If your child turns on your reminders (section 9.4), we also keep their email address, which they give us or, if you ask us to email them the invitation on your behalf, you give us; if they don't reply within 7 days, we delete it (sections 9.4 and 10.2). By asking for reminders or inviting them, you confirm that they are 14 or over and that you have parental responsibility or guardianship. We do not ask for their phone number.
Do not add surnames, photos, dates of birth, school name, address or health information.
Health information. You do not need to share your children's diagnoses or health data. If you want to talk to your Drimmly about health or special educational needs, your own or those of a child under 14, we first ask for your separate, explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time; for a child under 14, you give it on their behalf. Without that consent, please don't share that information with your Drimmly. If your child is 14 or over, your consent is not enough: that information is theirs, so don't share their health information; your Drimmly can still give you general ideas without knowing their case. If something slips out, you can delete that message or the conversation at any time and, if you tell us, we delete it ourselves. What we keep with your consent is kept for 6 months at most, even if you choose a longer history. If you withdraw your consent, your Drimmly forgets what it remembered about these topics, and you can delete the conversations where you talked about them. The Privacy Policy explains this in detail (section 6.4).
8.3 When you create a profile, you confirm that you have the right to give us this information and that you are acting in your child's interest. We recommend telling your child that you use Drimmlies.
8.4 Your child also has rights over their data. In Spain from age 14 (and in the UK at any age if they are mature enough), they can ask us directly to see, correct or delete their profile at [email protected].
8.5 You can edit or delete a child's profile at any time from Family.
8.6 If a court or administrative order limits your contact with a child or your access to their information, do not add their profile, or delete it. If it affects a family already on Drimmlies, let us know. We apply it within 72 hours of you sending us the order, after checking that it is genuine and in force. If someone sends us an order that affects you, we'll tell you that we have applied it and how to provide another one. If the parents disagree, we don't decide who is right: the Privacy Policy explains what we do in the meantime.
9. Family, the other parent and reminders to your child
9.1 Each parent has their own account and can see the same children. You can invite the other parent or guardian from Family. By inviting them, you confirm that they also have parental responsibility or guardianship.
9.2 Your conversations with your Drimmly belong to your own account. We do not show them to the other parent.
9.3 Each parent needs their own subscription to use their own Drimmly. If one parent takes out Family (section 15.3), the whole family can see that the child has Drimmly Pro, whoever pays for it. But Family covers only one adult: the other parent needs their own plan for their own Drimmly.
9.4 Reminders to your child by email. You can send your child reminders about tasks or dates ("Tomorrow: school trip form"). You don't need Family, and their drimmly.com account doesn't need to be linked. This is how they work:
- Age: only for children aged 14 or over, in every country. Never younger.
- How it reaches them: you can send them the link yourself from your phone (WhatsApp, Messages, Mail or the share sheet) or ask us to email them on your behalf. If you do, you give us their email address, see the message before it's sent and confirm it. We write to them once, with no advertising, as "your name (via Drimmlies)"; if they don't reply within 7 days, we delete their email address. We never message them by WhatsApp or SMS: only you can, from your phone.
- Your child decides. They see who will write to them and why, with the information about their data, and say whether they want reminders; they can say "No, thanks" or unsubscribe with one click. If they say yes from the email we sent them, their address is confirmed; if they come through your link, they enter their email address and confirm it. Without their "yes" we never send them a reminder. If they don't turn them on within 7 days, the link expires and we keep nothing. You can try again at most three times in total, and no more than once a month. If they say "No, thanks" or unsubscribe, you won't be able to ask them again through Drimmlies.
- The text is a fixed Drimmlies template with the task you write, the day and the time and, if you want, a note of your own of up to 140 characters. Your Drimmly does not write to your child. Before sending, you see how your child will receive it.
- Your note: we may check it with automated tools (never generative AI) and not send it if it breaks section 7. Your child can report it.
- What you see: each reminder has two buttons, "OK 👍" and "Another time". If your child taps one, you see their answer. We don't know, and don't tell you, whether they open the email: the emails have no tracking pixels and no open or click tracking. If your child replies to the email, the reply goes to a Drimmlies address that forwards it to you.
- Unsubscribing: your child can unsubscribe with one click in any email. It is their right: we act on it straight away and you can't override it. We let you know with a neutral message saying that email reminders to your child have been turned off.
- Limits: at most 3 a day and 10 a week for each child, and only between 8 am and 8 pm in their local time.
- Nothing promotional: no ads, no offers and no links to the App Store or to drimmly.com.
- Sender: your first name followed by "(via Drimmlies)", from a Drimmlies address.
- How long we keep things: your child's email address, while reminders are on; the text of each reminder, 30 days; its status, 90 days. After they unsubscribe or say "No, thanks", we keep only an encoded fingerprint of their email address (not the address itself), for as long as we offer reminders, so that nobody asks them again. If they turn reminders back on themselves, we delete it. When they turn 18, we ask them whether they want to continue.
- WhatsApp and text messages: we never message your child by WhatsApp or SMS; only you can, from your phone. We do not ask for their phone number.
10. Inviting your child to drimmly.com
10.1 The invitation to your child is available in the countries where Family is sold (sections 10.4 and 15.3). It is not available in the United States.
10.2 You can invite a child aged 14 or over to link their own drimmly.com account with yours, with a single-use link and a ready-made text you can change. How it reaches them: you can send them the link yourself from your phone (WhatsApp, Messages, Mail or the share sheet) or ask us to email them on your behalf. If you do, you give us their email address, see the message before it's sent and confirm it. We write to them once, with no advertising, as "your name (via Drimmlies)"; if they don't reply within 7 days, we delete their email address. We never message them by WhatsApp or SMS: only you can, from your phone. You can try again at most three times in total, and no more than once a month. The app tells drimmly.com their age range ("14–15" or "16–17") and the country where they live, to apply their country's rule (section 10.4). Children under 14 cannot be invited. In the app you will see this note: "\*Drimmly Pro through Drimmlies: for students aged 14 and over, with their own drimmly.com account and your permission."
10.3 Your child decides. They must accept the invitation on drimmly.com. Their account is governed by the drimmly.com terms and privacy policy, which are explained to them in a way suited to their age: what you will see, which alerts there are and when they are sent, and how to unlink on their own. If the drimmly.com terms say otherwise, your child always keeps the protection of the law and the courts of their own country.
10.4 What you confirm when you invite. You confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian and that their age is correct. We always ask for your authorisation and record it with its date and version. What changes depending on your child's country is who consents:
| Country's digital age of consent | Countries | Child aged 14 | Aged 15 | Aged 16–17 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 13 | UK, Belgium, Finland, Sweden | Your child; your authorisation is an extra safeguard | Same | Same |
| 14 | Spain, Austria | Your child; your authorisation is an extra safeguard | Same | Same |
| 15 | France, Denmark | You (in France, your child and you together) | Your child | Your child |
| 16 | Ireland, Luxembourg | You | You | Your child |
You can only invite a child who lives in a country in this table. If your child confirms a different country, we apply the stricter rule of the two; if it's a country outside the table, we can't link you.
The app doesn't ask for your child's exact age, only the range ("14–15" or "16–17"). So, in countries where the age is 15, a 15-year-old is treated like a 14-year-old: you consent (in France, both of you together).
Your authorisation also counts as their legal representative's authorisation for their contract with drimmly.com. What the table decides is who consents to the optional parts (for example, memory or voice). Where your authorisation is an extra safeguard, it does not stop your child deciding. You can withdraw it from Family: the link with your account is then removed, but your child's drimmly.com account remains theirs.
10.5 What you will see if they accept. You see their progress and their goals on drimmly.com. drimmly.com may send you a safety alert about your child; it only includes an excerpt of what triggered it if your child has allowed it. Before accepting, your child is told exactly what you will be able to see, and on drimmly.com they can see that their account is linked to yours.
10.6 You or your child can remove the link at any time; your child can do it on their own, and we will let you know. If you have Family, your child's Drimmly Pro continues until the end of the period you have already paid for (section 15.6). If you delete your own account, your child's drimmly.com account is not deleted; only the link is removed.
11. Class circle
11.1 Joining a class circle is voluntary and by invitation only: whoever creates the circle approves each family that joins. In a circle, families of the same class share dates: exams, trips, deadlines and meetings. Never grades, health information or personal information about children.
11.2 Whatever you post can be seen by the families in that circle. Only share what the other families need to know.
11.3 With one tap you can report any date or text, block a family or leave the circle.
11.4 Dates shared by other families may be wrong. Check them with the school.
12. Inviting other families and rewards
12.1 You can invite other families, or the other parent, by sharing a link or code from your own phone (WhatsApp, Messages, email and so on). Where we suggest a text, it is neutral and you can edit it (in the UK and the US we don't suggest one: sections 12.5 and 12.6); the reward is explained inside the app. Drimmly does not send messages to the people you invite, does not keep their contact details and does not read your contacts. Your child is different (sections 9.4 and 10.2): you can send them the link yourself or ask us to send them a single email on your behalf, after you see the message and confirm it; we only send them reminders if they say yes, and nothing contains advertising.
12.2 Only invite people you know who may be interested. Do not send invitations in bulk or post your link in paid ads. If you share your link publicly, say that you receive a reward, for example: "if you subscribe with my link, we both get credits".
12.3 When a family you invited with your link subscribes and pays (starting the free trial is not enough), you each receive 50 credits, up to 10 rewards a month. If they only accept the invitation, there is no reward. We do not give rewards for rating or reviewing the app, or for turning on notifications. This section does not apply in the UK or the US.
12.4 We may cancel rewards obtained through fraud or by breaking this section.
12.5 If you live in the UK, the programme is passive: you can share your link if you want, but the app will not ask you to invite people (no prompts or missions), will not suggest a text, and there is no reward for inviting, either other families or the other parent.
12.6 If you live in the US, the programme works as in the UK (section 12.5): you can share your link if you want, but the app will not suggest a text or ask you to invite people, and there is no reward for inviting, either other families or the other parent.
13. User content, reporting and moderation
13.1 You are responsible for what you post or send: reminders and notes to your child, class circle dates, notes and anything you share with your Drimmly.
13.2 How we moderate. To protect children and all families:
- we may use automated tools, such as filters, to help detect illegal or harmful content in the notes you add to reminders for your child, in what you post in the class circle, and in what goes into and comes out of your Drimmly;
- a member of our team reviews reports and unclear cases before we take serious action;
- we may hide or remove content, restrict features (for example reminders to your child or the class circle) or suspend accounts.
We always act diligently, objectively and proportionately, with due regard to everyone's rights.
13.3 How to report. Tap "Report" on any class circle date or reply from your Drimmly, or email [email protected]. Your child can report a reminder from the page where they answer it.
Anyone, even without an account, can tell us about content they believe is illegal at [email protected]. Tell us why you think it is illegal and where it is and, if you wish, how to contact you. We will confirm that we have received it, deal with it promptly and tell you what we decided and how to challenge it.
13.4 If we take action against your content or account, we will tell you why and how to challenge the decision, unless an order from an authority prevents us or it is high-volume deceptive commercial content (Article 17 of the EU Digital Services Act); in the UK, also if doing so could put someone at risk.
You can ask us to review the decision at [email protected] within 6 months, and a person will review it. You can also go to court.
13.5 If we become aware of content suggesting a crime that threatens someone's life or safety, or of child sexual abuse material, we will report it to the authorities. In some countries the law requires us to do so.
13.6 If you live in the UK:
- we protect people from illegal content using the tools and review described in section 13.2; where we use automated tools (proactive technology), they apply to the notes you add to reminders for your child, what you post in the class circle, and what goes into and comes out of your Drimmly;
- if you report an intimate image shared without consent, we will take it down, with its copies, within 48 hours at most, and your complaint will follow a fast-track route;
- you can complain about any decision we make, or about how we deal with illegal content, at [email protected]. Tell us what happened in your own words: a person will look at it, tell you what we decided and why, and explain what else you can do. Children can use this route too.
13.7 Legal representative in the EU. Our legal representative under the EU Digital Services Act (Article 13) is Alexis Sanz Fargeas, CEO of Drimmly AI Ltd, domiciled in Spain ([email protected]). EU authorities can contact him about anything related to that Regulation. For anything else, use the contacts in section 1.
14. Intellectual property
14.1 Your content stays yours. You keep the rights in what you write, say, photograph or upload. You give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to do three things with it: host and process it, send it to our providers, and show it to the people you choose. We use it only to provide the service, while you use Drimmlies and for the periods set out in the Privacy Policy.
We do not use your content or your children's data to train AI models or for advertising. If we ever wanted to, we would first ask for your express consent, separately.
14.2 You confirm that you have the right to share what you send and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
14.3 What your Drimmly generates. You can use its replies for your personal and family purposes, and we make no claim over them against you. Replies may be similar to those other people receive, and we do not guarantee that they are original or protected by copyright.
14.4 What belongs to us. The following belong to Drimmly AI Ltd or our licensors:
- the app, its software and its design;
- the characters (Nimbo, Brisa, Cielo and Lumi), including their animations and voices;
- the texts;
- the Drimmly and Drimmlies trade marks.
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, under these terms and the app store rules (section 28). We do not give you any other rights.
14.5 If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely and without paying you, but we will not use your personal data to do so.
14.6 If you believe something in Drimmlies infringes your rights, email us at [email protected].
14.7 Reads. Articles from other publishers belong to them: we show the headline, the source, the date and a link and, sometimes, a one- or two-sentence AI-generated summary based only on the headline and the standfirst, labelled as such. To read them, you go to their website. Our own articles are written with AI help and reviewed by our team before we publish them.
15. Plans and prices
15.1 Drimmlies has the following auto-renewing plans. Prices include VAT or the equivalent tax in your country; in the US, applicable sales tax may be added. In the euro area, the price is the same in every country. Drimmlies requires a subscription: without the AI permission you can use Tasks, the Family tab and the class circle, but not your Drimmly.
| Plan | What's included | Monthly | Annual | Where it is sold |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Parent Plus (in Spanish, Madre Plus, Padre Plus or Padres Plus, depending on what you chose under "I am…") | For you: your Drimmly by text and voice (400 credits a month, section 24), camera, tasks, reminders to your child, the Family tab and the class circle | €14.99 · £12.99 · $14.99 | €99.99 · £89.99 · $99.99 | The US, the UK, Spain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark and Finland |
| Family | Parent Plus for you + Drimmly Pro on drimmly.com for one child aged 14 or over who has already accepted your invitation (section 15.3) | €34.99 · £31.99 | €299.99 · £269.99 | The UK, Spain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. Not in the US |
| Family · 2 children | Parent Plus for you + Drimmly Pro on drimmly.com for two children aged 14 or over who have already accepted your invitation (section 15.8) | €54.99 · £50.99 | €499.99 · £449.99 | Same as Family |
Annual plans aren't offered in Belgium, Austria or Denmark (section 18.5).
Credit top-ups (+100 and +250, one-off payments) are in section 24.3.
15.2 The price that applies is the one shown in the app and on the Apple (or Google Play) payment sheet right before you confirm, in your currency and including taxes. We do not personalise prices using your data: the price is the same for everyone in your store. We don't make offers today (section 19).
15.3 Family.
- Who it is for: you can only take it out for a child already linked to your account (section 10), whose age has been checked (14 or over) and who does not already have Drimmly Pro paid on drimmly.com. That is why the Family option only appears once your child has accepted your invitation.
- It covers one adult: Parent Plus is for you. The other parent needs their own plan for their own Drimmly (section 9.3).
- It is not shared through Apple Family Sharing.
- Where: in the UK, Spain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark and Finland, for a child who lives in one of those countries (section 10.4). It is not sold in the US.
- In the app you will see this note: "\*Drimmly Pro through Drimmlies: for students aged 14 and over, with their own drimmly.com account and your permission."
15.4 Some features need an internet connection and a recent version of iOS.
15.5 Add-ons and bundles, if they ever exist, are only added if you choose them: they are never pre-selected. If there are bundles, their price will follow a public rule that is the same for everyone, and each adult will have their own plan. In each country, everyone sees the same price for the same plan: we don't run price tests or adjust prices using data about you or your family.
15.6 If your child unlinks. If your child removes the link, or you withdraw your authorisation, their Drimmly Pro continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. We can't change your plan: you change it. We'll let you know straight away and 7 days before renewal, with a button to switch to Parent Plus from that date. If it renews with no child linked, you can give the Pro to another child who links during that period, or ask Apple for a refund; we'll tell Apple the Pro hasn't been used. If your child deletes their drimmly.com account, you can move their Pro to another linked child at that point. If you withdraw your authorisation and, because of your child's age and country, their Pro depends on it, it stops; we'll tell you before you withdraw it. Drimmly does not refund money directly; if you ask for a refund, Apple decides (section 21).
15.7 Drimmly Pro is provided by drimmly.com, under its own terms (drimmly.com/terms). It is part of what you buy with Family. If we change Drimmly Pro in a way that is worse for you (for example, fewer features or fewer credits for your child), section 25.2 applies: we tell you, ask you to accept it and, if you don't agree, you can end the contract at no cost within 30 days of the notice. For everything you buy with Family, including your child's Drimmly Pro, section 31 of these terms applies, even if the drimmly.com terms say otherwise.
15.8 Family · 2 children. This is Family with Drimmly Pro for two children. It is in the same subscription group as Family: it is a single subscription, with one renewal date, one cancellation and a single free trial (section 17.1). Its price is public and the same for everyone, following the same rule as Family: Parent Plus + two times the price of Drimmly Pro on drimmly.com in your country, with no discount, rounded up to the next store price (€54.99 · £50.99 a month; €499.99 · £449.99 a year). It is not calculated from your data: we only change which plan we show you depending on how many children you have linked. You can only take it out with both children already linked and with their age checked, and with the same conditions as Family (sections 15.3 and 15.7). If one of them unlinks, their Pro continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we'll ask you to move to Family before renewal, as in section 15.6. If you move from Family to Family · 2 children, the change applies right away and Apple prorates what you have already paid.
16. How the contract is made
16.1 The steps are:
- You choose a plan in the app.
- You see a summary: price, trial, first charge date, renewal, how to cancel, who provides the service (Drimmly AI Ltd) and your right to withdraw. Parent Plus monthly is selected to start with. Family is never pre-selected and only appears once your child has accepted your invitation (section 15.3).
- If you want, you ask for the service to start straight away by ticking the box in section 22.3, which is not pre-ticked and is optional (in the UK you need to tick it for the service to start: section 22.4).
- You tap "Subscribe and pay", with the trial and the price on the line above, and confirm on the Apple (or Google Play) payment sheet.
- We email you a confirmation with these terms, your plan, the price, the date and amount of the first charge, how to cancel, information about your right to withdraw with the withdrawal form and, if you ticked the box, your request to start straight away.
16.2 Before confirming, you can review and correct your choice: close the payment sheet and choose again.
16.3 You can make the contract in English, Spanish or French (section 32). We keep a copy of these terms, which you can view at any time in the app and at drimmlies.com/terms.
16.4 When you tap "Subscribe and pay" and confirm on the payment sheet, you agree to pay (after the free trial, if you have one). You only ask us to start the service immediately if you tick the box in section 22.3. Payment is charged to your Apple Account (or Google Play account) when you confirm the purchase or, if you have a free trial, when the trial ends.
16.5 Who sells and who provides the service. In the EU and the UK, payment is taken by Apple Distribution International Ltd, which sells the subscription in its own name on our behalf. In the US, Apple acts as our agent. We, Drimmly AI Ltd, provide the service and are responsible for it working as described (section 23). In the app we also give you what the law requires from the seller: information before you pay, the withdrawal function, and cancellation and renewal reminders.
17. Free trial
17.1 Parent Plus (monthly and annual) and Family may start with a 7-day free trial if your Apple (or Google Play) account is eligible under the store's rules. There is one trial per person per subscription group: if you've already used the trial on a Drimmlies plan, you won't get another one (including when you move from Parent Plus to Family), and the app will tell you before you pay. Family · 2 children is in the same group as Family: it doesn't give another trial either.
In Spain there is no store free trial: when you create your account you get a free welcome week with 150 credits, with no subscription, no payment details and no automatic charge. When it ends, if you want to continue, you choose a plan and subscribe.
17.2 You pay nothing during the trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, the price of the plan you chose (for example, €14.99 a month or €99.99 a year) will be charged automatically when the trial ends. Your subscription will then renew as explained in section 18. You will see the exact date and time of the first charge, with your time zone, before you start. During the trial you get 150 credits (section 24.1).
17.3 We will remind you on day 5 of the trial, at least 48 hours before the cancellation deadline. The reminder will come by email and, if you have notifications on, also as a notification. It will include the date and time of the charge, the amount and how to cancel.
17.4 If you cancel during the trial, you won't be charged and you can keep using Drimmlies until it ends. You can't restart that trial. If you subscribe to another plan during the trial (for example, you switch from monthly to annual), any unused part of the trial is forfeited and the new plan is charged from that moment.
18. Automatic renewal and reminders
18.1 Your subscription lasts one month or one year, depending on the plan, and renews automatically until you cancel, for another period of the same length unless the law of your country says otherwise. It renews at the then-current price we have told you about.
18.2 To stop it renewing, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The store may charge the renewal within those last 24 hours.
18.3 Reminders before renewal.
- Annual plan: we will send you a dedicated email 35 days before the renewal date and another one 17 days before it (that is, at least 15 days before the deadline for cancelling). We will also let you know in the app.
- Monthly plan: in Spain, we remind you at least 17 days before each renewal. In the US, once a year we email you a reminder of your plan, its price, how often it is charged and how to cancel. In the UK, when the new subscription rules of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 come into force (planned for 2027), we will also send the reminders they require, including every 6 months on monthly plans.
- Each reminder includes the renewal date, the amount, the deadline for cancelling and how to do it.
18.4 Reminders about trials, renewals and price changes are for information only and contain no advertising or offers.
18.5 Belgium, Austria and Denmark. In these countries we only offer monthly plans.
19. Offers
19.1 We don't make offers today. There are no welcome prices, discounts or first-year offers on any Drimmlies plan.
19.2 If we ever make offers, they will be the same for everyone who meets a public rule (never based on your data or on the risk that you might cancel), we will tell you the price you will pay afterwards, and we will update these terms first.
20. Cancelling your subscription
20.1 You can cancel at any time, with no minimum term and no penalty:
- on iPhone: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Drimmlies › Cancel Subscription;
- in the app: Settings › Subscription, which takes you to Apple's screen to cancel;
- on Android, once Drimmlies is available on Google Play: Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › Drimmlies › Cancel subscription.
If you need help, write to [email protected]. Renewal is charged by Apple: to stop the charge, renewal has to be turned off with Apple. If you asked us to cancel and Apple charges you afterwards, contact us: we will help you ask Apple for a refund and send Apple proof of your request (section 21.3).
20.2 If we ever show you an offer to stay, it will only be on Apple's cancellation screen, the same for everyone, with the cancel button in view and without you having to do anything to skip it. Never in our own cancellation or withdrawal steps, nor through Help or support emails.
20.3 Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep access until then. When the store tells us you have cancelled, we will confirm it by email.
20.4 Deleting the app or your account does not cancel your subscription. Billing is handled by Apple (or Google Play). When you go to delete your account, we will show you a step to manage your subscription, which does not block deletion, and then email you the steps to cancel it.
20.5 If you live in France and have a monthly plan, you can also ask us to end it with immediate effect, at [email protected]. You are then entitled to get back the part of the price for the time you won't use. Apple, which took the payment, refunds it: we open the request for you and ask Apple to grant it; our agreement with Apple allows it to (section 21.3).
20.6 Restore purchases. If you change iPhone or reinstall the app, tap Settings › Subscription › Restore Purchases to recover your plan. Credit top-ups are tied to your Drimmly account and appear when you sign in.
21. Refunds
21.1 In-app purchases are billed, and refunded where appropriate, by Apple (or Google Play) under their own terms:
- Apple: you can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com;
- Google Play: under its refund policy.
If you email us at [email protected], we will help you request it.
21.2 This does not limit your legal rights: cancellation and withdrawal (section 22), statutory rights (section 23) and refunds if we change or stop the service (sections 25 and 26).
21.3 How refunds are made. Drimmly cannot directly refund purchases made on the App Store: Apple's agreement with developers does not allow it. Where these terms or the law give you a right to a refund (for example, in sections 22, 23, 25 and 26), Apple makes it (or Google Play), using the same payment method. We help you: we tell you what to ask for, open the store's request where that can be done from the app, and send the store the usage information it needs. This does not limit your legal rights against us. If we don't provide what you paid for, Apple can refund you on our behalf: our agreement with Apple allows it. If Apple doesn't grant it within 30 days, that right still exists against us: write to [email protected] and we will resolve it with you, including through the routes in section 31.
22. Your right to cancel or withdraw (UK and EU)
22.1 If you are a consumer living in the UK or the EU, you can cancel (withdraw from) the contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason. The period starts on the day you take out the subscription. If your plan starts with a free trial, the period starts on the day the trial starts.
22.2 How to withdraw. A clear statement made before the period ends is enough. You can do it in any of these ways:
- in the app: in the subscription settings, tap Withdraw from contract here. It is visible for the whole 14-day period. You tell us your name, which contract it is (your plan or your top-up) and the email where you want the acknowledgement, and tap Confirm withdrawal. We immediately send you an acknowledgement by email with what you told us and the date and time. Apple's refund request then opens (section 22.5);
- with Apple: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, stating that you are exercising your right to withdraw;
- with Google Play, once available: using Google's process;
- by contacting us at [email protected], or by post to Drimmly AI Ltd, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, using the form in Annex A or your own words.
If you send your statement within the 14 days, it counts as sent on time. We will email you to confirm that we have received it.
22.3 If you live in the EU and want to start straight away. Before you pay you will see a box, not ticked, with this text: "☐ I ask for Drimmlies to start now. I know I can withdraw within 14 days and, if I do, I'll get back everything I paid." It is optional: if you don't tick it, the service starts anyway. We record your answer, ticked or not, and repeat it in the confirmation email.
If you withdraw within 14 days, you pay nothing for the time used, whether or not you ticked the box: the refund is for the full amount, and Apple makes it (section 21.3).
22.4 If you live in the UK, Drimmlies is a service: you have 14 days to cancel and get back everything you paid (Apple refunds it, section 21.3). To start straight away, tick the box before paying to ask for and agree to us starting now ("☐ I ask for and agree to Drimmlies starting now. I can still cancel within 14 days and get back everything I paid."); without it we can't start.
When the new UK subscription contract rules of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 come into force (planned for 2027), for subscriptions taken out from that date you will also have 14 days to cancel after the trial ends and after each annual renewal, and you will be entitled to get back the part of the price for the time you won't use. Apple, which took the payment, refunds it: we open the request for you and ask Apple to grant it; our agreement with Apple allows it to (section 21.3). This right cannot be waived; we will tell you when each of those periods starts. We will send you the reminders and the acknowledgement of your cancellation even if you subscribed earlier. We will update these terms before that date.
22.5 Refund. If you withdraw, you are entitled to get back what you paid, at no cost to you and no later than 14 days after you tell us. The refund is made by the store (Apple or Google Play), using the same payment method: Drimmly cannot refund money directly (section 21.3). When you confirm your withdrawal in the app, we open Apple's refund request and send Apple the information it needs. If the store does not refund you within that period, contact us and we will pursue it with the store together with you.
We keep your access until Apple decides on your request. If Apple refunds you, the plan ends at that point.
22.6 Credit top-ups. A top-up is an advance payment for a digital service. You can also withdraw from a top-up (section 24.3) within 14 days, in the same ways. Before paying for it you will see a box, not ticked: "☐ I ask to use the credits now. I know I can withdraw within 14 days and that, once I've used them all, I'll no longer be able to withdraw. Apple decides on any refund; if it refunds the top-up, the remaining credits are removed." In the EU it is optional: if you don't tick it, you can still use the credits. In the UK you need to tick it to use them. You keep the credits until Apple decides; if Apple refunds the top-up, we remove the credits from that top-up that you have left. Apple decides what is refunded (section 21.3).
23. Your statutory rights
23.1 We are responsible for making sure Drimmlies works as described in these terms and in the app. If you are a consumer, you have the statutory rights given by the law of your country, and nothing in these terms limits them. For example:
- in the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015;
- in Spain, articles 114 and following of the Spanish consumer protection law (TRLGDCU);
- in other EU countries, your national rules on digital content and digital services.
23.2 If something does not work, email [email protected] and we will fix it within a reasonable time. If that is not possible, you can ask for a price reduction, or end the contract and get back what you paid for the affected period. Apple, which took the payment, refunds it: we open the request for you and ask Apple to grant it; our agreement with Apple allows it to (section 21.3).
23.3 Being honest about what the AI does (section 5) does not limit these rights: it is part of what you are signing up for.
24. Credits and level
24.1 Plan credits. Credits are an internal unit that measures your use of your Drimmly's AI features. They are yours alone.
- Parent Plus (and Family) includes 400 credits every month; on annual plans they renew on the same day each month. During the trial (or, in Spain, the welcome week) you get 150. Plan credits do not roll over from one month to the next.
- What each thing uses: each reply, 2 credits; your Drimmly's voice, 1 more credit for every 15 seconds it speaks (counted by characters, up to 90 seconds); a long task, 6 (before starting, we ask whether you want us to go ahead). Talking to it yourself is free. Help resources in a crisis never use credits.
- Where you see it: at the moment of each action, we don't tell you how many credits it uses; the full table is always in the app, in the Box (How your credits are used), and in this section.
- When they are deducted: if a reply finishes while the app is closed and we let you know it's ready, its credits are deducted when you open it; if you don't open it within 7 days, it is deleted and nothing is deducted. A long task you confirm is deducted when it finishes.
- When they run out:
- we let you know when you have 20% left;
- with 10% left, your Drimmly switches to replying in writing; you can choose "Keep using voice";
- at 0, you move to basic mode: 5 replies a day until your credits renew or you buy a top-up;
- we never cut a conversation off mid-way without warning.
- Balance notices are for information only and have no buy button. Top-ups are in the Box, where you can also see how many credits you have left, of which kind, and how much each feature uses.
24.2 Earned credits. You can also earn credits:
- by inviting other families: 50 for you and 50 for the invited family, when they subscribe and pay (section 12; not in the UK or the US);
- when the other parent joins (not in the UK or the US);
- by completing missions (up to 40 a month).
Earned credits expire 12 months after you earn them; we let you know 30 days before.
24.3 Purchased credits (top-ups). You can buy extra credits with a one-off payment, inside the app:
| Top-up | Price |
|---|---|
| +100 credits | €4.99 · £4.99 · $5.99 |
| +250 credits | €9.99 · £9.99 · $9.99 |
- They do not expire.
- They are only for you: they cannot be sent to your children or to anyone else.
- You can use them even without an active plan or trial: they let you keep talking to your Drimmly.
- You can withdraw within 14 days (section 22.6).
In the Box you can see plan, earned and purchased credits separately. None of them:
- has any cash value outside Drimmlies;
- can be exchanged for money, goods or services outside Drimmlies;
- can be transferred to other people or accounts, including your children.
Plan credits and earned credits cannot be bought or sold.
24.4 Experience, level and stickers. By using Drimmlies you gain experience and go up levels; each level gives you a sticker for your Dream Board. You can see your level number in the app. Experience, level and stickers cannot be bought, have no cash value, cannot be transferred and do not give credits. There are no random rewards or loot boxes.
24.5 We may change the usage table or the rules for credits, level and stickers for the reasons in section 25.1. If a change is worse for you (for example, fewer included credits or features that use more), it applies as explained in section 25.2: from your next renewal, with at least 30 days' notice, and with the right to end the contract; in that case you are entitled to get back the part of the price for the time you won't use. Apple, which took the payment, refunds it: we open the request for you and ask Apple to grant it; our agreement with Apple allows it to (section 21.3). We will never take away credits you have already earned or bought, or your level or stickers, except in case of an obvious error or fraud.
24.6 If you delete your whole account, you lose your plan credits and earned credits, and your level and stickers; we remind you first. If you have unused purchased credits, we first tell you how many and offer you two options: "Delete only my Drimmlies data", which keeps your account and your balance, or asking Apple to refund those top-ups (we open the request for you, section 21.3). If the law of your country entitles you to the value of unused purchased credits, you don't lose that right by deleting your account. If you have no plan, your account with purchased credits is not deleted for that reason or for inactivity. If your subscription ends, you keep purchased and earned credits (purchased credits don't expire; earned credits expire as explained in section 24.2).
25. Changes to the service and prices
25.1 We improve Drimmlies regularly. We will only change features, the credits table or the price for one of these reasons:
- service improvements or technical changes;
- security or user protection, especially of children;
- changes in the law or decisions by authorities;
- changes in the terms, availability or prices of our AI providers or the app stores;
- changes in taxes or in the cost of living (inflation).
Changes that are not worse for you will not cost you anything.
25.2 If a change is worse for you (for example, we remove a main feature or a character you use, reduce the included credits or make the usage table more expensive):
- on annual plans, it will apply from your next renewal;
- on monthly plans, also from your next renewal, and we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email;
- we will ask you to accept it expressly: continuing to use the app does not count as acceptance;
- if you do not agree, you can cancel before renewal at no cost. If a reason in section 25.1 forced us to make the change earlier, you can end the contract and you are entitled to get back the part of the price for the time you won't use. Apple, which took the payment, refunds it: we open the request for you and ask Apple to grant it; our agreement with Apple allows it to (section 21.3).
25.3 Price changes. If we raise the price of your plan for a reason in section 25.1, we will tell you by email 30 days in advance, and the new price will only apply from your next renewal. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then at no cost. In some cases, Apple (or Google Play) will ask you to accept the new price; if you do not, your subscription will not renew. In the US, the notice falls within the window your state sets; in California, between 7 and 30 days before, and in New York, between 5 business days and 30 days before.
25.4 If we stop providing Drimmlies, we will give you at least 60 days' notice. You are entitled to get back the part of the price for the time you won't use and the value of any purchased credits you haven't used. Apple, which took the payment, refunds it: we open the request for you and ask Apple to grant it; our agreement with Apple allows it to (section 21.3). From that notice, no new subscriptions can be taken out, and we will do what is needed so that existing ones don't renew. If any renews after the closure, Apple can refund it on our behalf (section 21.3).
26. Suspension, termination and account deletion
26.1 If you want to leave. You can delete your account at any time, even with an active subscription: in the app (Settings › Account › Delete account), at drimmlies.com/delete-account or by emailing [email protected] from your account's email address. Before deletion, we tell you what is deleted and what we must keep by law, and you can download a copy of your data if you want; you don't have to. You can delete it now or at the end of the period you have already paid for. Please note:
- deleting your account does not cancel your Apple or Google Play subscription: if you have an active one, we show you a step to manage it, which does not block deletion, and then email you the steps to cancel it (section 20.4);
- your account is the same on drimmly.com, so it is deleted there too, with whatever you have on the website. If you prefer, you can choose to delete only your Drimmlies data: your drimmly.com account stays;
- if you pay for a drimmly.com plan by card, when you delete your whole account we cancel its renewal and you won't be charged again: your own Pro ends with the account, and a child's Pro continues until the end of the period already paid;
- your child's own drimmly.com account is not deleted; only the link is removed;
- if you have Family active, your child's Drimmly Pro continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. To stop Apple charging another renewal, cancel it with Apple (section 20.4). Your child's account remains theirs;
- reminders to your child stop and we delete their email address (section 9.4);
- you lose your plan credits and earned credits, and your level and stickers; for purchased credits, see section 24.6.
26.2 If we take action. We may suspend or close your account, or restrict features, in these cases:
- if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, especially sections 3, 7 and 13;
- if it is necessary to protect a child or another person, or to prevent fraud or abuse;
- if the law or an authority requires it;
- if a child is using the account.
We will always act proportionately. Unless it is urgent or the law prevents it, we will warn you first, explain why, and give you the chance to respond or ask a person to review the decision (section 13.4).
26.3 If we close your account even though you have not broken these terms, you are entitled to get back the part of the price for the time you won't use and the value of any purchased credits you haven't used. Apple, which took the payment, refunds it: we open the request for you and ask Apple to grant it; our agreement with Apple allows it to (section 21.3).
If we close it because of a serious breach by you (using Drimmlies to harass, threaten or endanger someone, especially a child; impersonating someone; fraud; or continuing to break these terms after our warning), we apply no penalty. We cannot cancel your Apple subscription ourselves: we'll send you the steps to cancel it. If Apple charges you a renewal after the closure, ask Apple for a refund using the link we send you; we'll tell Apple that your account was closed. What you are owed for the unused part of the period is decided by Apple (section 21.3).
26.4 When an account is closed, its plan and earned credits, level and stickers are lost (for purchased credits, see sections 24.6 and 26.3), and we delete your data as explained in the Privacy Policy.
27. Our responsibility to you
27.1 What we never exclude. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- gross negligence or wilful misconduct;
- your statutory rights as a consumer (statutory rights, cancellation rights and pre-contract information);
- anything else that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
27.2 Foreseeable loss. We are responsible for loss or damage we cause by breaking these terms or by failing to provide the service with reasonable care and skill, as long as that loss was foreseeable when you entered into the contract. We are not responsible for loss that was not caused by our breach, or that was not foreseeable.
27.3 Personal use. Drimmlies is for personal and family use, so we are not responsible for business losses such as lost profits, lost opportunities or business interruption.
27.4 AI replies. We have told you that your Drimmly can be wrong and that you should check important information (section 5). We are not responsible for decisions about health, law, money or safety that you make based only on an AI reply you did not check, unless the harm is caused by our breach or negligence.
27.5 Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, as long as we took reasonable steps to prevent or limit them. Examples include widespread internet outages, outages at Apple, Google or our AI providers, disasters and decisions by authorities. A provider suspending its service because we breached its terms is not an event outside our control. If the problem lasts a long time, you can end the contract and you are entitled to get back the part of the price for the time you won't use. Apple, which took the payment, refunds it: we open the request for you and ask Apple to grant it; our agreement with Apple allows it to (section 21.3).
27.6 Other users' content. We are not responsible for content posted by other users, for example in the class circle, unless we know it is illegal and fail to act quickly to remove it.
27.7 In the EU and the UK we don't cap our liability. In the US, see the US annex (US.8).
28. Apple App Store terms
These terms are Drimmlies' custom end user licence agreement (EULA) and replace Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you downloaded Drimmlies from the App Store, the following also applies:
(a) These terms are concluded between you and Drimmly AI Ltd only, not with Apple. Drimmly AI Ltd, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content. These terms do not provide usage rules that conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
(b) Your licence is non-transferable and lets you use the app on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the usage rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Where those rules allow it, other accounts associated with yours may also use the app, for example through Family Sharing, as long as they meet section 3 (aged 18 or over and a parent or legal guardian). Drimmlies subscriptions and credit top-ups are not shared through Family Sharing, and cannot be bought through Apple's multi-user (volume) or organisation purchases.
(c) Drimmly AI Ltd is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for the app, as set out in these terms or as required by law. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide any maintenance or support for the app.
(d) Drimmly AI Ltd is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent they have not been effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses caused by a failure to conform to a warranty are the sole responsibility of Drimmly AI Ltd. This does not limit your statutory rights against us.
(e) Drimmly AI Ltd, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app or your possession and use of it, including:
- (i) product liability claims;
- (ii) any claim that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement;
- (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.
(f) If any third party claims that the app, or your possession and use of it, infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Drimmly AI Ltd, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
(g) You represent and warrant that:
- (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country;
- (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
(h) Please direct any questions, complaints or claims about the app to Drimmly AI Ltd, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, or by email to [email protected] (section 1).
(i) You must comply with any applicable third-party terms when using the app, for example your mobile data provider's terms.
(j) Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. When you accept these terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
29. Google Play
If Drimmlies becomes available on Google Play and you download it from there:
- your purchases are also governed by the Google Play Terms of Service and Google Play's refund policies;
- Google is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for Drimmlies;
- to cancel, follow section 20.
30. Changes to these terms
30.1 We may change these terms for valid reasons: changes to the service, the law, app store rules or our providers' terms, or to explain things more clearly. We will not change the essential elements of the contract without a valid reason.
30.2 If a change is significant, we will tell you by email and in the app at least 30 days in advance and explain what is changing.
- Changes that are not worse for you apply after the notice.
- Changes that are worse for you do not apply just because you keep using Drimmlies. We will ask you to accept them expressly; on annual plans they will apply from your next renewal. If you do not accept, you can end the contract free of charge and you are entitled to get back the part of the price for the time you won't use. Apple, which took the payment, refunds it: we open the request for you and ask Apple to grant it; our agreement with Apple allows it to (section 21.3).
- Your data: we will never apply a change that lets us use data we already hold in a materially different way (for example, to train AI) without your prior express consent.
30.3 Changes required by law or for security reasons may apply sooner. If so, we will tell you as soon as we can.
30.4 We keep every previous version of these terms and will send you any of them if you ask at [email protected].
31. Governing law, courts and complaints
31.1 Which law applies, and which courts you can go to, depends on where you live. You always keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live and your right to go to your local courts:
- If you are a consumer living in the EU, these terms are governed by the law of the EU country where you habitually live. You can bring claims against us in the courts where you live or in the courts of England and Wales. We can only bring claims against you in the courts where you live.
- If you are a consumer living in the UK, these terms are governed by the law of the part of the UK where you live (England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland), and you can bring claims in the courts there. We can only bring claims against you in those courts.
- If you live in the US, the US annex applies: informal resolution first, individual arbitration with 30 days to opt out of it, and the law stated there, without affecting the consumer protections of your state that cannot be excluded.
- If you live in any other country, the law of England and Wales applies and its courts have jurisdiction, without affecting the consumer protection rules of your country that cannot be excluded.
31.2 Complaints. You can complain in any of these ways:
- by email to [email protected];
- by post to Drimmly AI Ltd, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom;
- in the app, under Help.
A person will deal with your complaint, not just an automated system. We will give you a reference number and reply as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours. If you live in Spain, we always reply to complaints within 15 days at the latest. We will never use this channel to offer you plans or deals.
If you live in Spain: we have the official complaint forms of Catalonia and of the other regions. If you want to use your region's official complaint form, ask us at [email protected]: we will send it to you, or accept yours, and handle it the same way. You can write to us in any official language of Spain.
31.3 If you are not satisfied:
- in the UK, we are not signed up to, or required to use, any alternative dispute resolution body;
- in Spain, you can go to the Consumer Arbitration Board (Junta Arbitral de Consumo) of your region. We are not signed up to it; when we close your complaint, we will tell you in writing whether we will take part in that case. You can also contact your regional consumer authorities;
- in France, our membership of the CM2C (Centre de médiation de la consommation de conciliateurs de justice) is in progress, and we will give its contact details here as soon as it is confirmed. In the meantime, you can go to court or report a problem on SignalConso (signal.conso.gouv.fr);
- in another EU country, you can contact your country's consumer authorities or go to court;
- in the US, see the US annex (informal resolution first, then arbitration or small claims court).
Drimmly is not signed up to any alternative dispute resolution body. When we close your complaint without resolving it, we will tell you in writing which body is competent and whether we will take part in that case. The EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform closed on 20 July 2025.
31.4 For complaints about your personal data, see the Privacy Policy. You can contact the Information Commission (formerly the ICO) in the UK, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD) in Spain, the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL) in France, or the data protection authority of the country where you live.
32. Language
These terms are available in English, Spanish and French, and you can make the contract in any of those languages. If you live in Spain, these terms and the information before you pay are always available to you in Spanish. If versions differ, the interpretation most favourable to you applies. If you live in Spain and ask, we will give you the pre-contract information and these terms in Spain's other official languages (Catalan or Valencian, Galician and Basque) within 30 days. If you live in Spain, the contract is treated as made where you live.
33. General
33.1 These terms, together with the documents in section 2.2, are the entire agreement between you and us about Drimmlies, without affecting what we told you before you entered into the contract or in our advertising, which also binds us.
33.2 If a court finds any part of these terms invalid, the rest stays in force.
33.3 If we do not enforce something straight away, we can still enforce it later.
33.4 We may transfer this contract to another company in our group or to whoever acquires the business. We will tell you first, and your rights will not be reduced. If you do not agree, you can cancel and you are entitled to get back the part of the price for the time you won't use. Apple, which took the payment, refunds it: we open the request for you and ask Apple to grant it; our agreement with Apple allows it to (section 21.3). You may not transfer your account.
33.5 Apart from Apple (section 28(j)), no third party has any right to enforce these terms, including under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
33.6 We will send notices to your account email or in the app. Mandatory notices (about trials, renewals and changes) will always be sent by email.
33.7 Accessibility. We want Drimmlies to be accessible. We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA, including when you buy. If you hit a barrier, email [email protected] and we will help you another way.

US annex. Additional terms for residents of the United States
If you live in the United States, these additional terms also apply. If anything in this annex conflicts with the rest of these terms, this annex prevails for you.
US.1 What is sold in the US. Parent Plus (monthly and annual) and credit top-ups, in US dollars. Family and Family · 2 children are not sold in the US, and the invitation to your child (section 10) is not available. Reminders to your child (section 9.4) are only sent to children aged 14 or over. Drimmlies is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through Drimmlies. If we learn that an email address belongs to a child under 13, we delete it.
US.2 Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically, at the price and for the period you see before you buy, until you cancel. If you start with the 7-day free trial, the first charge comes when the trial ends, on the date and at the time we show you. You can cancel before the first charge and at any time after that, on your iPhone: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Drimmlies › Cancel Subscription. Before you subscribe, we ask you to agree separately to these automatic renewal terms, with an unticked box ("I agree to the automatic renewal terms above"). We send you a confirmation email with these terms, the cancellation policy and how to cancel, a reminder before each annual renewal (and, if your plan is monthly, one a year) and a notice 30 days before any price change. Refunds are handled by Apple.
US.3 AI and crisis. Your Drimmly is an AI, not a person or a professional. It is not therapy and does not give medical, legal or financial advice. If you or anyone else is in danger, call 911 or 988. Companion chatbots may not be suitable for some minors. Your Drimmly does not offer therapy or mental health care, and does not present itself as able to do so.
US.4 Voice and camera. Before you first use voice or the camera, we ask for your written permission, which names Google as the recipient of your voice and photos (ElevenLabs only receives the text of the replies). Without it, voice and the camera stay off. We do not create voiceprints or face geometry, and we do not use your voice or image to identify you or estimate your age (section 6.4).
US.5 Notice for California residents (Cal. Civ. Code §1789.3). The provider is Drimmly AI Ltd, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, [email protected]. Prices are in section 15 and in the app. You can file a complaint with the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs, in writing at Department of Consumer Affairs, Consumer Information Center, 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by phone at (800) 952-5210.
US.6 Disputes: individual arbitration and class action waiver. PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY: IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
- In writing first. Before bringing a claim, write to us at [email protected] and let's try in good faith to resolve it for 60 days. The time limits for bringing a claim are paused during those 60 days.
- Individual arbitration. If it is not resolved, the dispute will be decided by binding individual arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act, administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Drimmly pays any arbitration fees above what it would cost you to file the claim in court.
- Small claims court. Either of us can go to small claims court if the case falls within its jurisdiction.
- No class actions. Claims may only be brought individually, not as part of a class, collective or representative action. In arbitration there is no judge or jury.
- Mass arbitration. If many similar claims are filed, the AAA Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules apply, as those rules provide.
- You can opt out of arbitration: email [email protected] within 30 days of accepting these terms, with your name and your account email, saying you don't want arbitration. Opting out takes nothing else away from you.
- Public injunctive relief. Nothing in this section stops you from asking a court for public injunctive relief where the law of your state does not allow that right to be waived (in California, McGill v. Citibank, N.A. (2017) 2 Cal.5th 945).
- If the class action waiver is not valid for a claim, that claim does not go to arbitration and a court decides it.
- This section does not apply to claims by minors or by third parties who are not parties to these terms.
- Claims that cannot be arbitrated. This section does not apply to any claim that a law does not allow to be sent to arbitration under a pre-dispute agreement, including claims of sexual harassment or sexual assault (9 U.S.C. §402). Those claims go to court.
US.7 Governing law. These terms are governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and, otherwise, by the laws of the state where you live, without affecting the consumer protections of your state that cannot be waived.
US.8 Warranties and limits. EXCEPT AS SET OUT IN THESE TERMS, AND AS FAR AS THE LAW ALLOWS, DRIMMLIES IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" AND WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. AS FAR AS THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LOST PROFITS. AS FAR AS THE LAW ALLOWS, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF WHAT YOU PAID FOR DRIMMLIES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT OR US$100. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THESE EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IF YOU LIVE IN NEW JERSEY, THE DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, THE EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES AND THE CAP ON LIABILITY IN THIS SECTION DO NOT APPLY TO YOU. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS OUR LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY OUR NEGLIGENCE, OR FOR FRAUD, GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILFUL MISCONDUCT.
Nothing in these terms stops you from posting honest reviews.
